Collage 100

Post Covid Collage no. 100. “Human Grace.” After every class day for at least two decades I walk toward the subway in Harlem passing this niche with a lavish ornament - it is the place where the building places their trash. I printed it three times and watercolored the portrait section in three colors, added three buttons and faceted dots also in the same colors. In Brooklyn I found tucked in an empty lot a massive truck - tires flat and panels rusted - but still dignified. It has been there as long as I remember. I printed it on Chinese paper money and added some more gold leaf. The title is arbitrary.
